Duration: 8 hours + transfer time from/to pick up/drop off location.
Mattina
The tour starts from Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence, with an impressive panoramic view of the whole city. We then come to Piazza Duomo, where you can visit the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Flowers, the Giotto’s Bell Tower and the Saint John’s Baptistery. After a lunch break you will be transferred to the area of Piazzale degli Uffizi, from where you can visit Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria and its surroundings.
Afternoon
We continue to Pisa, a city at a human scale, where you can freely stroll along the river or walk through the alleys to discover the most ancient and hidden churches. The pulsing heart of the town is Piazza dei Miracoli, where you can visit the Cathedral and the Baptistery as well as the world known Leaning Tower, which has shown its characteristic slant since its construction in 1173 as it sank into the ground below. Siena and San Gimignano
Journey to the heart of medieval Tuscany to discover Siena and San Gimignano.
Duration: 6 hours + transfer time from/to pick up/drop off location.
Morning
Arrival in Siena, one of the jewels of Tuscany and home of the world-famous Palio. You can take a walk among the “Contrade” (quarters) of the city and relive the competitive and celebratory spirit of the Palio, between the sacred and the profane. A visit of the marvelous Piazza del Campo is in order, unique in the world for its shell shape, the Torre del Mangia, the Cathedral and the Basilica of Saint Dominic.
Afternoon
Next, after the lunch break, we continue to San Gimignano, for a stroll through this quaint village that will take you back to the Middle Ages, with its towers, the Rocca di Montestaffoli, Piazza Duomo and Piazza della Cisterna, the most beautiful of all squares in the country.
* Admission tickets to sights are not included.
* Personal assistant and private tour guide are available on request.
Matera
Matera lies in a small valley in Basilicata – or Lucania, as it is also called – and it has been elected as the 2019 European Capital of Culture: a nearly unknown area harboring ancient history.
Duration: 5 hours + transfer time from/to pick up/drop off location.
Matera is famous all over the world for the “Sassi”, a collection of primitive and bare dwellings built with water and tuff that have been included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites for their particularity. The city is age-old: in fact, the first evidence of human presence in this area dates back to the Paleolithic Age, and in the reconstruction of the city’s history we found barbarian invasions and the presence of Byzantines and Christians during the Roman period. In addition to an enchanting walk through the history of what is now the Old Town of the Lucanian city, Matera invites you to visit numerous rock churches and crypts dating from the early Middle Ages. Thanks to the typical white tone of the tuff and the surrounding landscape, in the Christmas season Matera becomes the natural and ideal setting for a live nativity scene, taking the visitor back to the Palestine of 2000 years ago.

Perugia and Assisi
An itinerary that will take you to the heart of Umbria, a region of hills, mountains and valleys holding enchanting villages and unexpected treasures.
Duration: 8 hours + transfer time from/to pick up/drop off location.
Mattina
Arrival in Perugia, a charming medieval village 150 km from Rome that still retains relics of the Etruscan city walls dating from the fifth to the sixth century BC. The historic city center can be visited on foot and is rich in churches and historic buildings. Do not miss the Complesso di San Domenico with its Gothic basilica and the Archeological Museum.
Afternoon
We continue to the medieval town of Assisi, where the city walls and gateways that used to surround and protect the city are still visible and well preserved. Assisi is the “city of peace” and its atmosphere of calm and tranquility grasps even those without religious faith. While you visit the impressive Basilica of Saint Francis, consisting of two churches, one superimposed on the other, you can admire the allegorical frescoes by Giotto. We then continue to the plain below to visit the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels.

Duration: 6 hours + transfer time from/to pick up/drop off location.
Morning
The tour begins with the journey to the characteristic medieval village of Barberino Val D’Elsa for a leisurely stroll through the alleys of the town. Proceeding along the “Via Chiantigiana,” you can admire the characteristic Tuscan hills, rich in vineyards and olive groves. Upon reservation you can visit a local winery, stroll along the vineyards and taste some excellent wine.
Afternoon
We proceed toward Montefioralle, which was once a castle and is now called one of the most beautiful towns in Italy.
