Terms and conditions

Reservations

Last-minute phone reservations are possible for transfers and daily trips only. For all other bookings, Gaeta Taxi Service requests clients fill out our online form or email taxi@gaetataxiservice.it, indicating the services required. Reservations are considered final only when you receive our confirmation email.

Payment

Gaeta Taxi Service accepts cash payments (in Euro only), as well as bank transfers (advanced payment) or credit/debit card payments directly on board (Visa, V-Pay, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express).

Deposit

Gaeta Taxi Service does not usually require a deposit when making a reservation. Whenever necessary, and especially for bookings made well in advance or half day/full day tours in high season, a 30% deposit is required in order to confirm the booking. The balance will be set to the driver at the end of the service. 

Cancellations

All reservations can be cancelled at no extra charge up to 72 hours before the service by email at taxi@gaetataxiservice.it or calling +39.339.33.08.359

No refunds in case of cancellations with less than 72 hours notice.

Delays

Gaeta Taxi Service’s drivers customarily wait for clients up to 90 minutes with no extra fee. Should the waiting time exceed 90 minutes, an extra hourly fee of 10 to 30 Euros applies.

In the case of transfers from airports or train stations, we kindly request our clients notify us of any delays, in order to avoid excessive waiting and extra fees – our driver will adjust to the new pickup time at no extra charge.

Luggage / Personal Effects on board

We kindly request upon reservation that you indicate the total pieces of luggage you will carry, as well as any oversized items (bikes, skis, etc), so we can provide the most suitable vehicle for your transportation.

You can leave your luggage on board while you enjoy your visits – our driver will wait for you in the car. However, we recommend you take with you any valuable items and personal documents/identification that could easily be forgotten. Should you decide to leave these in the car, Gaeta Taxi Service declines any and all responsibility for loss or damage.

Demeanor on board

Gaeta Taxi Service guarantees our drivers’ manners and professionalism, as well as compliance with traffic regulations. As we believe in mutual respect, we request you behave in a similarly polite and respectful way while in our cars, refraining from smoking or consuming alcohol on board, and damaging or soiling the vehicle.

Animals on board

Gaeta Taxi Service loves pets and knows travelling can be stressful for them. For this reason, we request you make all the necessary arrangements to prevent your four-legged companions from soiling or damaging the interior of our vehicles.

Refunds

For any delays due to reasons beyond the control of Gaeta Taxi Service (traffic, accidents, road work/detours, mechanical failure, unforeseen circumstances/acts of God), no refunds will be given. In the event of Gaeta Taxi Service being unable to provide our service, we will arrange an alternative solution free of charge. All responsibility, when clearly due to an error or unjustified delay on the part of our drivers, will be borne by Gaeta Taxi Service and a refund will be offered.
